Rovinj walking tour
About one and a half hours in a small group with a Rovinj-born guide, covering the lower and upper town and ending at St. Euphemia's Church.

Rovinj is a compact seaside town for slow walks, harbour time and a few relaxed nights.
Why go
Rovinj's old town sits on a rounded peninsula below St. Euphemia's bell tower. It is smaller and quieter than Pula, and works well for two or three relaxed nights.
The lanes are cobbled and sloping, so good shoes help. Travellers who enjoy wandering rather than rushing between sights will feel at home in Rovinj.
Guided tours
A good first choice is a short guided walk through the lower and upper town with a Rovinj-born guide. It ends at St. Euphemia's Church.

When to go
May, June and September are pleasant and calmer than peak summer. July and August are hotter and busier.
Winter is very quiet. Many hotels, restaurants and boat trips close roughly from November to March, although some cafés and places to stay remain open, so check before booking.
Bus, ferry and on foot
Buses connect Rovinj with Pula, Rijeka, Zagreb and other Istrian towns, including Arriva Croatia services. The bus station is a short walk from the old town. The old town itself is pedestrianised, so you walk in from its edge.

Plan your route
Buses connect Rovinj and Pula, and Pula’s bus station is a short walk from the Arena and old town.
Buses run between Rovinj and Rijeka, and Autotrolej buses continue along the coast from Rijeka to Opatija.
